Gynger Lentz, APRN

Gynger started her healthcare career at Methodist College of Nursing where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing.  She continued her education at OSF College of Nursing where she obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree with honors.

After graduating, Gynger worked at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, IL for four years assisting Dr. Kishore in the operating room during eye surgeries. Additionally, she has experience in pediatrics, long term care and triage nursing.

Gynger joined Illinois Retina & Eye Associates in 2022. She specializes in macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Additionally, Gynger has received extensive training in the technique of eye injections and has performed more than 2,000 injections.
